HAIX combines shoes and socks to face intense heat

With periods of intense heat becoming ever more frequent, HAIX is offering a new duo combining the Black Eagle Safety 630 LTR GTX safety shoes and the Connexis Printemps-Été socks. Designed for building professionals, the high-cut shoes incorporate the patented Sun Reflect technology, which limits the heating of the leather under the effect of solar radiation. According to the manufacturer, this solution makes it possible to reduce the sensation of heat felt inside by up to 40%. Compliant with the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard, they combine waterproof leather, a Gore-Tex membrane, a puncture-resistant sole and a composite protective toe cap. To complete the outfit, the Connexis Printemps-Été socks rely on fibres that help to wick away moisture and on a compressive knit intended to improve foot support and limit friction. A combination designed to offer greater comfort to professionals exposed to summer conditions on site or in the workshop.
